Q: Do I need to bring insurance to renew my vehicle?
A:
Typically you do not have to bring it, but it is always safer to do so because sometimes it is required.

Q: Do I need to bring insurance to transfer a vehicle?
A:
Yes

Q: What do I need to bring with me to get a marriage license?
A:
If over 18, you need to both bring your ID’s showing proof of age with you.  If either party is 17, you must petition the family court in the county in which the minor resides, or the District Court in that County, for an order granting permission to marry.  If either party is under the age of 17, no marriage license will be issued. 

Q: What do I need to bring to transfer an in state vehicle?
A:
You must have the title signed and notarized and your proof of insurance on the vehicle you are acquiring.

Q: What do I need to bring to transfer an out of state vehicle?
A:
You must have the title signed, a sheriff inspection on the vehicle and your proof of insurance.

Q: How do I pay usage tax on my purchase price, rather than on retail?
A:
You must have the affidavit of total consideration completed.

Q: How do I get a disabled hunting and fishing license?
A:
You must send your TPQY form to the Dept. of Fish and Wildlife to be issued a disabled card, then you present your card to receive the $5.00 disabled hunting and fishing license.

Q: How do I get a new title if I have lost mine?
A:
You must fill out a VTR (TC96-182) and pay $6.00 to get a new title.  This can be done in the office or through the mail.

Q: Do I need my ID to transfer a vehicle?
A:
Yes you must bring your ID with you so that we can notarize your signature.
